ABOUT ME
Hello I'm L Stravach (they/them)
and yes my name is just one letter.
I'm a commercial video producer and indie filmmaker who's dedicated to searching for human connection through storytelling. I've dipped my toes into a range of different media worlds from broadcasting and corporate video, all the way to narrative shorts and documentary features.
Growing up, my whole family's way of bonding was watching TV. My dad and I would sequester away in the basement watching movies that were a bit inappropriate for my age, while my mom would share her latest TV show obsessions with me. Over time my parent's passion for watching films became my own passion for making films.
In high school and college one quest for independence and, simultaneously, a bunch of new queer friends led me to spend much of my time building communities for youth leadership and LGBTQ+ students within various organizations. 10+ years of leadership and community experiences over time merged with my already-ingrained love for film, and I started focusing on films that explored the curious nature of humanity and relationships.

As a filmmaker now, I aim to support projects that give voice to underrepresented communities. Through sharing stories of people, places, and ideas that haven't been voiced before, my goal is always to highlight the bonds between us all. Whether it's through my own ideas or others', producing human-driven films is a passion I'll be working on for a very long time.
